"I am 7 years old. I play tennis since August 2021. I learned tennis with ETC in Gatineau. Before learning tennis, I was really motivated and interested in learning it. When I started the first sessions, I liked it even more. The more I played, the more passionate I became about the sport. My coaches and my parents encouraged me a lot too because I was very good at it. For my age and the few sessions I had already done, they told me that I was very good and that I could go far. Outside of my sessions, I also play in the garage at our house and in the parks around the house. Recently my father found a tennis court next to our house. I'm happy to be able to learn from my coaches and practice outside as well. Thanks to my family and coaches for all their encouragement, I hope to be a champion and win tournaments in the future."
“I started taking lessons with Elevate Tennis Club in the summer of 2022. As a beginner, I am very happy with the progress I have made in such a short time. Nadice and Chatmi were attentive and patient coaches. They really took the time to show us the techniques and correct us when it was necessary. The environment in the group was comfortable and friendly. “I am 11 years old. I play tennis since September 2021. I learned tennis through Elevate Tennis Club in Gatineau. I was taking lessons with my older brother Akram who is 13 years old. My father wanted us to take lessons mainly so that we could learn to do a sport activity together as brothers and learn to be disciplined. Our Coach Chatmi not only has an excellent pedagogy but with a lot of patience, he also encouraged us to be wise, to solidifying our brotherhood and to be disciplined. After each session, our father would ask the coach if we had been good, and if we had, our father would buy us ice cream. It was a way for my dad and Coach Chatmi to encourage us to not only be diligent but also to develop good values. My father, brothers and I look forward to playing again this summer to continue to learn not only the sport but also the key values of life."
“I have been in love with tennis for a long time and finally came across Elevate Tennis Club last summer. This is when my tennis journey began. I am usually not a sporty person and starting a sport like tennis was quite challenging for me but luckily my coach Chatmi was extremely patient and kind, always very encouraging so I did not give up like I did with other sports. Everybody I met at Elevate Tennis Club was so lovely. I had an incredible summer playing tennis last year and I can’t wait for the good weather so I can join the Club again. “Tennis is a sport that I love and have played since I was young. I joined Elevate Tennis Club in summer 2022 after many years without playing. Tennis helped me in maintaining agility, fitness and strength it’s also a social activity. Our coaches are amazing always sacrificing their time for us. We had such a great and fun time. “ I am 12 years old. I play tennis since July 2021. I learned tennis through Elevate Tennis Club in Gatineau. For me, it was a great activity. During the summer, I played on Saturday mornings. I was always the first one to arrive among all the kids, and it gave me the opportunity to talk with the coaches and help them put the equipment on the courts. The coaches were really nice. I also had the opportunity to meet other kids of my age and learn a lot of important values like teamwork and cheering for the players. The coaches always insisted that we encourage each other and not make fun of others when they miss a ball for instance. Usually on Saturdays, I don't like to leave the house early in the morning, but with tennis, even when I was a little sick, I wanted to go. I can't wait to play next summer because it was a good experience for me."
